A Structured & Faith-Oriented Mentorship Program with Shawn Aaron McCraney
Shawn McCraney is a father of three, a father-in-law to two, and a grandfather to three. Shawn has been married to Mary Marguerite (DuBose) for almost forty years. Shawn has sat with hundreds of people (and dozens of couples) mentoring them on Christian living and marriage. Shawn lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and mentors via remote access along with face-to-face encounters. He also facilitates two annual weekend (Fri-Sat) retreats a year – one free and one paid.
Heart of the Matter
Where Mormonism Meets Biblical Christianity, Est. 2006
Heart Of The Matter is a live television broadcast that boldly confronts the intersection of Mormonism and Biblical Christianity that originates from the Mecca of Mormonism itself, Salt Lake City.
In 2006, host Shawn McCraney began Heart Of The Matter to compare and contrast Mormonism with Biblical Christianity. From then until 2021, Shawn ardently and personally pursued an authentic relationship with and understanding of God based on a rigorous pursuit of Biblical context, all while hosting live weekly call-in episodes to bring his findings to light. In that time, he covered a full survey of the deconstruction of Mormonism and Evangelicalism as we know them.
On May 7th, 2024, Shawn revived Heart Of The Matter, entitling this era “Full Circle”, and is bringing seekers what he has found to be The Great News.

Verse By Verse Teachings are live weekly deconstructing the context and purpose of the Bible in the age of Subjective Christianity. Live each Sunday at 10AM MT.
In 2006, Shawn McCraney, a self-taught theologian, embarked on a structured and public study of the Bible with the aim of discovering Truth through the Spirit and outside of organized religion. His pursuit focused on a personal understanding of God without any external influences. Every week, Shawn has taught his research findings with a live audience, including YouTube viewers, followed by a question and answer session.
The teachings aim to delve into the fundamental nature of God, exploring who He is and how He interacts with us today. Through these sessions, a profound appreciation for God’s love has emerged, reshaping perspectives on purpose and gratitude in everyday life. Most specifically, Shawn has come to a deep understanding of what we call biblical fulfillment, meaning all things in the Bible have been fulfilled and we are in the age after material religion.

Yeshuans is the Community Ministries branch of The Great News Netowrk. Our platform brings you content in the age of fulfillment from individuals dedicated to seeking YAHAVA in Spirit and Truth. We are here to offer a space and way for people to share insights and support one another’s personal pursuit of knowledge of YAHAVA and Yeshua in the way the Spirit leads.
At Yeshuans, we find faith to be purely about about the freedom and love found in Yeshua. We want to empower individuals to explore their beliefs without pressure or judgment. Whether you’re a scholar or just curious, you’re welcome to join us on this journey.
